According to report, KGF Yash Movie Chapter 2 is likely release on 14 January, on the occasion of Makar Sankranti. The production got delayed due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus. KGF: Chapter 1, directed by Prashanth Neel, garnered international recognition and made wonders at the box office. Following the success of it, the makers announced a sequel, which was supposed to release on October 23.

According to report, the film make of KGF have decided to release the KGF likly on 14 January on thr occasion of Makar Sankranti.
After almost six months, Prashanth Neel resumed the shoot of the film in Bengaluru.
KGF: Chapter 2 is on the verge of completion with only 10 days of shoot left.

The film's heroine Srinidhi Shetty recently shared a selfie with the film's director and said that she is excited to be back at work.

The producers are planning to complete the post-production of the film by November and release it in January 2021. It will be officially announced in the coming days. Recently, Kartik Gowda, executive producer of Hombley Films, revealed that the team would wait for the theaters to reopen in the country for the film's release.

KGF: Chapter 2 also stars Bollywood actors Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon in pivotal roles. Sanjay Dutt has shot for his part with only three days of shoot. The actor will soon join the set. KGon 2 is the second major Kannada film to hit the floor amidst coronovirus scare. The first was Kichha Sudeep's Phantom.
